Introduction to Automation System for Food / Food Additives
I. System Definition
The automation system for food / food additives is a complete set of intelligent production equipment centered on mechanical conveying, precise metering, electrical control and intelligent PLC systems. In accordance with preset production formulas and process sequences, it fully automatically completes raw material conveying, proportioning & metering, automatic feeding, mixing & stirring, and process management. Specially applied to the whole‑process production of food processing and food additives, it replaces manual batching and feeding to realize standardized, dust‑free and intelligent production.
II. Core Components
Material Storage Unit: Consists of raw‑material silos, sealed hoppers and food‑grade storage tanks for storing food raw materials and additives including flour, starch, sweeteners, preservatives and flavors.
Conveying Unit: Equipped with food‑grade vacuum loaders, screw conveyors and tube chain conveyors for sealed material transportation to prevent dust contamination and moisture‑induced deterioration.
Metering & Batching Unit: Adopts loss‑in‑weight scales, micro‑metering scales and liquid flowmeters to accurately weigh main materials and food additives with high batching accuracy.
Automatic Feeding Unit: Composed of automatic discharge valves and quantitative feeding mechanisms, it feeds materials into mixing tanks, reaction kettles and mixers automatically following process sequences.
Intelligent Control Unit: Includes PLC control cabinets and touch‑screen human‑machine interfaces. It supports storage of multiple sets of formulas, automatic timed feeding, full‑process operation monitoring and automatic fault alarming.
